Off 380 Players enjoys record attendance!
.....Cheers could be heard for a 50 mile radius as Judi Conger and Sheril Rodgers wrapped up Off 380 Players final performance of the 2007-2008 season with "Always...Patsy Cline". The musical, written by Ted Swindley, drew record crowds as nearly 1000 area residents were treated to a wonderful performance by the cast. The show, directed by Stan Baker, with musical direction by Dr. Carol Reynolds, was a wonderful mix of music, drama and comedy. Patsy, played by Judi Conger (left), was a perfect match to play the legendary Patsy Cline, left audiences asking if she was her long lost daughter. Not to be outdone by her counterpart, Louise, played by Sheril Rodgers, turned in an equally stunning performance that made you laugh, clap, dance and cry before the night was over. The band, the Bobcats, along with the backup singers, transported you back to the old honky tonks of yesteryear. Off 380 Players would like to thank all those who made this production a reality. A special thank you to Brenda Morgan's Sagebrush Cafe for a sucessful opening night gala. Also thanks to Global Group for the wonderul programs, Bright Ideas, Meyers Agency, Radio Shack, and all the wonderful volunteers that donatated thier time, money and passion to make Off 380 Players a sucess. We look forward to seeing everyone next season, and dont forget to renew your season tickets!!
